Ellen's Children Fund

The Dutch based Ellen’s Children Fund (ECF) is a privately-funded non-profit organisation that strives for a better future for orphans and other vulnerable groups in Africa’s sub-Saharan region. AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria pose a huge threat to the public health of the population of that area. Parents fall victim to these illnesses in large numbers, very often leaving children completely on their own, or with grandparents that cannot handle the care for the orphans. These children literally pay the price.
